Come visit the Mosaic table (12pm-4pm) at this JCAA event.

The Jewish Community Association of Austin is delighted to coordinate a community-wide Yom HaAtzmaut festival in honor of Israel's 60th birthday,
Festivities include:
* Concert by Israeli performing sensation Miki Gavrielov at 2 PM
* An Israeli Shuk (Market) with hundreds of items of Judaica, jewelry, games, cosmetics, music, and art
Extended Shuk Hours: Sunday, May 11, 11 AM-6 PM
Monday, May 12, 8 AM-12 PM & 3-8 PM
Tuesday, May 13, 9 AM-1 PM
* Special Mother's Day Spa treatments sponsored by Viva Day Spa
* Israeli food and drink
* Music, Israeli folk-dancing, and belly dancing throughout the day
* Maccabi Land with games, inflatables, camels, a climbing wall, an archaeological dig, and more
* "Israel in a Day" exhibit by area school children, with a focus on cities, heroes, foods, culture, technology, science, and archeology
* Israeli films sponsored by the Austin Jewish Film Festival
* A completely transformed DJCC, inside and out, by Etty Brish and ELB Design!

    We were in Israel in Feb. and early March. A new acquaintance from that tour will be visiting us from Philadelphia that weekend, and we are all eager to get another Israel "fix"!
