We need to advise the Sanctuary in advance of how many of us are coming to volunteer, so your RSVP on Meetup is very important!
Weekend volunteers are needed at the Sanctuary. During the week SARA has a paid staff to perform the work functions. However, on the weekends we have limited staff and need volunteers! You can help feed, clean enclosures, groom, bathe and socialize the animals.
If you plan to volunteer, please try to arrive no later than 11:00 am. (Remember, RSVP needed.) The animals are on a routine (feeding, naptime, playtime, quiet time, etc.) Please bring your own water and soft drinks, a sack lunch is also a good idea.
